Superman by Hot ToysEver since Christopher Reeve helped (re)define the superhero movie genre back in ’78, he has been and always will be my definitive Superman actor. Hot Toys is supporting his legacy by having a portion of their figure’s sales donated to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. While a picture is worth a thousand words, a bunch of these product publicity photos together only elicit two words from me: “I want!” The only thing that could equate to this figure’s level of awesomeness would be Reeve’s Clark Kent with a slight smile or smirk in the portrait.

Michael Keaton’s Batman should be coming down the pike, and if Hot Toys were so inclined to do a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman, the triumvirate of DC superheroes from my impressionable youth would be complete.
